Description
A wonderful Victorian insect brooch designed as a bee.
French in origin, constructed from silver topped gold. Set with a blueish and greenish yellow chatoyant quartz which displays a marvellous cats eye effect when titled in the light.
The wings, body and head set with rose cut diamonds and the eyes with cabochon rubies.
The brooch fitting is detachable and the piece could be converted for wear as a pendant.
