A highly unusual and rare Georgian ring with a hidden compartment.
Modelled in 15k Gold with embossed floral decoration.
Hidden within the embossed decoration is a tiny button which when pressed springs open a compartment inside the ring.
The ring is enscribed “Elizabeth Binks OB 14th May 1819. Aged 86”. A rare find.
