A stunning Georgian sentimental sepia pendant. Modeled in 15k gold, containing an exquisite hand painted sepia depicting two birds in a woodland scene tying together a knot of eternity. Written above in French reads “Le plus loin le plus serré” translating to “the further the distance the tighter the knot”. The frame is decorated with blue guilloché & white enamel. Unusually the piece is set with diamonds like stars in a nights sky.
