Description
Just beautiful! This is an Edwardian era gem set filigree necklace by famed jeweller, Muerrle Bennett and Company (1884-1916).
Ernst Muerrle came to London in around 1880 from Germany where he worked at their premises on Charterhouse Street.
The lacey filigree work is combined with green tourmalines and rubies and is typical of the delicate construction of Edwardian jewellery.
