A splendid Victorian Essex crystal brooch, The carved and reverse painted crystal depicts a chaffinch perched on a branch nestled among leaves and berries. the backing is mother of pearl giving an iridescent glow throughout the crystal. Set into a 15k gold frame with a beaded and rope twist border.
