Description
This quirky and well made charm dates from 1915.
Here’s an unusual antique French charm to add to your valued collection. It is crafted in 18K gold and shaped like a field gun, with moving parts.
Not surprisingly it dates back to 1915, after the start of the First World War when field guns were in constant use.
The wheels of this charm turn, springing the barrel.
It is inscribed “glorieux 752” “1914-15”. It comes with the original leather case designed as a shell.
A great gift for an history aficionado.
