Description
This is a spectacular 15K gold Edwardian era ‘cartwheel’ design brooch.
It is dated from between 1890-1910, and features perfectly matched cabochon cut turquoise, embellished with old mine cut diamonds and a central single natural pearl.
Turquoise was a favourite choice in Edwardian jewellery and was characterized by delicate and intricate designs featuring diamonds to complement the soft colour of the turquoise stones.
Edwardian turquoise jewellery is highly sought after by collectors and enthusiasts.
