Description
This is a late Georgian/early Victorian era heart pendant featuring a sentimental, glazed miniature portrait of Elizabeth Cavendish, wife of William Cavendish, 4th Duke of Devonshire.
She was much involved in politics and society at the time, and she played a significant role in intellectual “bluestocking” circles.
The pendant is made from 15K gold and silver and features a rose cut diamond encrusted bow above her picture.
