Description
This is a highly unusual 14K gold Celtic dragon locket.
It was made during the 19th century, so possibly Victorian in origin.
The front and reverse are carved with Celtic dragons in warm yellow gold, and the locket opens to reveal a hidden compartment for a picture or a lock of hair.
The Victorians were fond of similar types of sentimental lockets, another indication of its probably date.
It comes with a matching 14K gold chain.
